Today on Critters Corner we have Kaya. Kaya is an African Ball Python that is just a baby of 8 months. Shes only about 18 inches now but will grow to between 4-6 feet in length. She is easily the gentlest and friendliest of all our critters, She is constantly winning the hearts and minds of snake haters all the time.
Her name means come back to us and never leave in the native African tongue. We had just lost a snake (died during surgery) and she was my replacement, thus why we chose the name Kaya.
