A very poular topic lately
" have seen a wave of panic in the industry in relation to reciprocal links, to the extent that people are culling them. I cannot believe there is merit in culling links like this.
In addition, if there is no great value in recips anymore why would websites be falling in serps because the recips have been culled. I have seen it stated in this forum in many posts that one likely cause of slipping in serps is because people have culled the recips? " http://www.webworkshop.net/seoforum/viewtopic.php?t=14123

Oh my.. isn't that title just a grabber?
"Improve your site page Rank with following steps. 1. Join forums, forums are a great way to achieve links to your website. 2. Submit to search engine directories. Search engine directories are a good way to get a free link to your website. 3. Using ezine ads (or newsletters). Creating an ezine will probably be the most beneficial step you can take to increasing your web presence. 4. Creating and publishing articles. Articles are an easy source of generating new traffic. 5. Links from related websites. Gaining links from related websites can be one of the most frustrating tasks you can attempt."
Is it too good to be true? http://www.webworkshop.net/seoforum/viewtopic.php?t=13726

We SEO service providers are often tasked with having to deal with the misconceptions of our clients. This posts attempted to look at it some..
"My problem with SEO at the moment is that selling results that 'might' happen in a month/few months time is almost impossible on the short term. I'm not talking about sites that are getting minor traffic which is an easy target to increase by 500%, I'm talking clients who have already gone down the road and now seeks 'professional help'." http://forums.site-reference.com/topic/3163/Selling-SEO-to-misinformed-clients/

This post was about contructing page names with targeted keywords
"Just wanted to check i'm doing this right - here are a few pages that are targetting some of the longtail results from my industry.
If i'm doing this right i'll be making a good couple of thousand more. Is there anything I could do to improve these pages? " http://www.webworkshop.net/seoforum/viewtopic.php?t=13825

An interesting Go Round on not-so-good SEO tactics
"In my quest to continue on the SEO road to success, i've come across a lot of methods which are recommended to help, such as submitting to directories, producing blogs and articles, but what methods are to be avoided?
What tricks/techniques are a sure fire way of having your URL being banned from major search engines? " http://www.webworkshop.net/seoforum/viewtopic.php?t=13551
