Bing Still Evolving

Great analysis - but I would say Bing is still evolving (though Google too evolving still its online for nearly 12 years)! From my experience - Bing is giving more importance on domain relevance too i.e. word/words on the domain coupled with Title relevance and word/words on content. From what I figure, with few more years, Bing's algorithm will be more sophisticated than Google and search results would be more refined.

Open Site Explorer Giving Outdated Results

i used open site explorer just yesterday and was distraught to find it gave results that reflected a redirect which was removed over 6 months ago. If this means that tool is lagging, then, so might that portion of your assessment. to add: G enthusiasts are struggling to make heads or tails of what they think they see. besides, since when does the age of a website mean quality or reason to trust? it doesn't. also, maybe bing realizes that reliance upon linking as we know it is f.a.u.l.t.y. and a.b.u.s.e.d. when you say G makes a big deal over the same old linking junk, i cringe. although, i imagine a lot of social engineers that call themselves SEOs would be very disappointed if they were suddenly finding themselves groveling for top spot. "They have to look at the same signals and factors Google does".. really?
