Hiya Jeffery... nice 2 CU. Well, many years ago SEO Nirvana hit home upon finding Bill's blog. Since then I have based a lot of testing and eventual programs around the concepts found in many of the search patents. At very least I think they're important is it gives one a glimpse into the mind's eye of search engineers. This is not only good for today's SEO, but planning for the future as well. tnx for hooking me up with the link... I can never get enough geeky SEO material (and peeps say there's nothing 'new' out there)

Dave: Gotta love the resources. Most fail to realize that you can determine somethings nature by its course and somethings course by its nature and looking up patents to predict what sticks is awesome. You opened the can of worms on tons of goodies in this post. Lots of great reading material for those late night binges on sifting through PDF's and .EDU computer science term papers. Here is a good one if you haven't already checked it out. http://infoblog.stanford.edu/ Enjoy brother and happy holidays Dave.

Great post Dave. I love that you keep tabs on stuff like this since it doesn't seem like many other search blogs out there do. I'm curious to see how many of these concepts come full circle and get implemented though.
