hello, Here's the deal, I am a avid work out buff, a personal trainer, a nurse, and in the army. I am very pissed to see all the bull shit mags. I have been a trainer for several years and have never seen a "natural" person (man) like anyone in the mags who was natural. I want to put a mag together that is real. I know people by it the bs now, but I think that with time people will by into this as well. I am willing to try all the supplements, and give un-bias opions (and can not be bought out by the big companies). I want to bring the best to the best out there, the normal men. And I need help, please get back to me.

It is certainly an interesting concept and I suppose that’s what caught my eye. As I said, I don’t generally cover many patents outside of the search world; this one was too interesting to pass up. I have had more than a few conversations since I published this where we have toyed with the endless ramifications for many sectors of the publishing world. The concepts have legs it is going to be interesting to see where it goes from here. The same concepts could be used in corporate data bases for creating reports and more; in a ‘corporate model’ release of such an application. Fun to play mental ping pong with in the very least.
Your Personalized Newspaper. Google, Fee

Hi Dave, Great catch you really pay attention to what is going on! What I think has happened is that Google got a whiff of the likes of Feedjournal.com which has the potential to set up a model where every blog or newspaper could fashion their own RSS Newspaper with revelent print advertisments to each individual user. Printed ads have more shelf life than online advertisements. The likes of Google could add new tier of ad revenue almost overnight. You can see how the Feedjournal Application works on my blogsite: www.newscloud.blogspot.com or www.feedsyndicate.blogspot.com There is a widget of the application available if you want to add it to your site. I for one hope a little guy like Jonas of the Feedjournal can beat Google to the punch! Regards, ~Joel

Very interesting article. It will be very interesting to see what happens in this field. There is another company that is doing the exact same thing. ShelfMade.net (http://www.shelfmade.net) is offering personalized magazines from blog articles. I wonder how this news will affect them?

Hey there Mr. B - I actually used the example in the patent for the Sports articles and a pic of a baseball player. At 1am, I go with the path of least resistance. I do agree that there are many places one could go from here. I will certainly have my ears perked up now though... I can't wait to see what they do with this...

Great illustrations, Dave. Of course, my Google Mag would probably have a different cover than yours. I see a number of uses for this, beyond the creation of personal reading material. For instance, this could make it easy to create a corporate magazine for different businesses. An enterprise version might work well.
