Download the series and data
Over the last few weeks friend of the Trail, Anthony Verre begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting, did some really great work on comparing Google and Bing on a few different levels. I liked it so much and the data was so well prepared, I felt it would be helpful if we created a 'play at home' kit for you to take with you. The ZIP file has a PDF version of the post, all the images and spreadsheets from the posts
The analysis includes looking at on-site factors as well as link related factors for both Google and Bing in a head to head game of SERP chicken in a few related query spaces. There are a ton of graphics for illustration as well as a mound of data (spreadsheet) for you to not only read long, but also make your own conclusions.

Who says SEOs don't share competitive intelligence any more? I guess Tony didn't get the memo. We haven't really tried putting things together like this before (in a handy download) and I hope you find it useful. Please do sound off in the comments.
And once more, a HUGE thanks to Tony for putting it all together. Seems it was a LOT of work.
