Next on our list is Bear, or as the kids call him, the Bear Man. He is 1 ½ years old and is a Husky-Shepherd cross. His claim to fame is being the cat protector as our cats enjoy getting chased by critters (cats, dogs whatever) and running back to the BearMan who will chase the poor buggers ½ mile down the road/across the field. Thos are some mean cats for sure
The Bear Man simply LOVES the outdoors and you can barely get him to come in even when it is raining or snowing, hot or cold. A bit of Wolf still courses through his veins for sure

He has very similar markings to our oldest dog, Smithy - he's a Heinz 57 (lots of varieties) but seems to be predominantly German Shepherd, and coincidently, he has the same protective instinct with our cats. Nobody bothers his cats LOL He's not a big fan of bad weather though, in fact we have to physically carry him outside when it rains.
His daughter Shiane is still with us.
