the Vertical Search engine for the SEO community

A while ago I created a vertical search engine (via GCSE) that is set up to search some of the top sites in the SEO (and search marketing) web-o-sphere. The main idea was simply to have somewhere to research topics of interest from trusted sites only. Not only does it make it easier to access information from valued community members, but it cuts the friggen web spam outta the picture altogether.

To that end, sharing with ya’ll seems only natural. It is a work in progress and new sites will certainly be added over time.

Feel free to nominate other worthy candidates for inclusion, so far it searches (in no particular order);

    Not too bad, actually. The ads are kinda intrusive, and putting the result titles in bold would make things help. I tried TSPR to throw it in at the deep end (time sensitive page rank, akin to smoke and mirrors) and nothing came back, but it did well with softer terms. Good start!

    lol... hullo mate..long time no read...

    The ads come with the territory as it is built on the Google Custom Search Engine - but the spam is gone at least.

    As for the results, the engine is only returning results from the sites listed. If its not indexed from there, then it will return no result. I hope to keep adding more quality/current resources as time goes along.

    Thanks for playing and leaving some feedback tho, always appreciated.

    I totally own this SERP: Moses :evil:

    One of these days I'll have time to write a post that actually might help some people...but those, like, take work and stuff.

    I like the GCSE though, I played around with it for a project I never really finished Interweb20.com. A little web 2.0 custom search. never had time to apply my own weight to stuff though.

    Nice work on yours...and thanks for including me in the index, you're doing better than google :P

    ya know Aaron I was thinking of you as I added Eric. Was thinking, "the Hat is gonna get me fer this" - lol

    I built it like a month ago and use it for researching stuff... also made one into a sort of 'Buzz Monitor' - they are fun to play with...

    I am trying for some form of quality control - I added U n Me well... erm... uh... cause I can. The rest of the sites are solid SEO citizens :0
