The Trail Is Growing Up

Welcome the our new format

Over the last five years I have had the great fortune to be able to garner the attention of many folks in the search world writing here on the (Fire Horse) Trail. It has been a blast and allowed me to meet so many great people and eventually evolved into the SEO Training Dojo... a wondrous ride to be sure.

A few years ago I started having some guest posters to help liven up the joint. Because really, who wants to read about patents and geekiness all the time (other than me of course)? Since that time I've had a steady stream of guests and have enjoyed sharing the space.

Which brings me to some great news!

Recently I was thinking about taking that to the next logical step and having some more full-time writers here to expand the offering. So that's exactly what I have done.

With the help of my partner, Terry VanHorne, we have collected some diverse and interesting people in the space that we are going to be having write for us on a regular basis. So let me introduce you to some of the new blood here on the trail;

We have given them their own profiles, so just click on the pic (or name) to learn more about them;

Tony Verre
Anthony Verre - the CEO of Silver Arc Search Marketing and known as "The Milwaukee SEO". He's worked in search engine optimization and search marketing for over 5 years. He recently published a new book eProfitability; a guide for C-Level executives and upper management.

Rebekah May
Rebekah May
- has been in the SEO industry for that past five years, mainly working as the Director of Search Engine Marketing for four websites. She is now working on forming her own SEO Consulting practice, Whole SEO, which provides SEO, PPC and Internet Marketing services.

Gabriella Saninno

Gabriella Sannino - is the owner/operator of Level343, a copywriting & SEO company. She specializes in depth analysis, hard data, strong copy and tested SEO techniques to bring traffic and conversions to business websites

Barry Adams begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting begin_of_the_skype_highlighting     end_of_the_skype_highlighting
Barry Adams
- Starting out his career in the ’90s in all things online as an intranet content manager, Barry has worked in a wide variety of positions, including SEO specialist, corporate webmaster, and web consultant for small businesses.

Kathryn Katz
Katheryn Katz
- aka urbanwebkat, has been writing and marketing on the Web since 1996. While she’s currently working as an in-house manager at Consolidated Credit Counseling Services, she’s worked both agency and in-house positions.

Matthew Diel
Matthew Diehl
- is a SEO Strategist with Charles River Interactive located in Lexington, MA (USA). At CRI he is tasked with setting and executing organic search strategies for a wide range of clients from multi-national B2C companies, localized SMBs and non-profits.

Terry VanHorne
Terry VanHorne
– is an internet technology enthusiast, passionate marketer with an opinion on most topics related to these fields. He did newsletter marketing for years and from that came Webmaster T’s World of Design one of the oldest resources for SEO content on the net.

And of course, yours truly.

We hope you enjoy the show

Beyond that we also have some interesting guest posters as always. With the rise of the SEO Dojo and newly launched, SEO Dojo Radio show, it was best that I share this space with others to keep you, our great readership, entertained. And that's what it's all about at the end of the day, you, the loyal readers.

And me? Well, I will continue to write here of course, as well as my other haunts such as Search Engine Journal and my mates at WordStream (and elsewhere). I am also now going to be writing from time to time for Search Engine Land, which should also be fun... we Gypsies do get around ya know.

I have had a blast over the last 5 years and I hope to bring you along with all our new adventures!

....and to our new riders? Welcome aboard... do me proud and take care o' me baby!
