It sure is a mad world out there

The week that was….

Hey gang…. I had such a groovalicious week that I wanted to take a few minutes to update ya’ll and give some more mad props out to the world.

The SEO Handbook - We started the week off by announcing the release of this year’s SEO Handbook and latest offering, the Link Building Guide.  We had some fun here on the blog (50+ comments) and more than 200 reTweets which was a top Twitter buzz term for a few hours that day – great fun!!

Webmaster Radio – on Wednesday I was thrilled to take part of a chat about Personalized Search and Behavioural metrics on WebMaster Radio… I had a great time with that and want to thank Virginia and the gang for having me on!! You can listen to the broadcast here

The SEMMY’s – as an added bonus 1 of the Trail’s 3 nominations has made the cut as a finalist in the SEMMYs. We’re up for an award in the ‘Rant’ category for last summer’s social media meltdown – be sure to go and VOTE HERE.

I know there wasn’t much posting going on here this week, but as U can see…it was a little busy. We’ll be back posting more SEO goodiness next week including some talk about personalized search and an interview with Web Metrics Guru – Marshall Sponder whom agreed to talk Analytics and SEO with me… don’t miss that one…

  Well sure Ben... funny enough, the SEMMY nod is for my social media meltdown last year;
  
  Since then I have worked VERY hard to say thanks, comment on posts, to everyone that supports the cause. I can't complain about others lack of caring if I do not show the utmost gratitude myself dontcha know...
  
  If peeps didn't say kind things, link to posts, sphinn or otherwise support the Trail... I'd be here talking to myself like the old days...
